Nu kom FedEx förbi med paketet från England, fylld med Cetuem! Tydligen hade killen varit här och letat men inte fattat var ”Nailmail” håller hus. Vi har en lapp på dörren, men där är det AkroPlanet-loggan som dominerar över Nailmail. Kanske lite svårt att se. Dessutom stod inte mitt namn på paketet.

Nåja, nu är det här. Imorgon kommer vi kunna betala kuverten för då får vi en utbetalning från Klarna! Så nästa vecka hoppas jag att vi ska kunna sätta igång, beroende på allas schema såklart. =)

Ordern av Cetuem är nu skickad och bekräftad att den är mottagen. Jag har också beställt kulor i rätt storlek =) Det var ju rätt fånigt att fråga om ni vill ha dem egentligen, givetvis vill ni ha sånt som förbättrar en produkt och det gratis!

Min kära SaintBella kläckte idéen att vi skulle beställa mixing balls till Cetuem-lacken, ni vet de där små kulorna som gör att lacket blandas bättre när man skakar flaskan. Som bekant innehåller inte Cetuem några kulor. Jag undrar därför om ni vill ha kulor till dem? Jag skickar naturligtvis med 2 st per flaska du beställt helt kostnadsfritt.

Jag tar mig friheten att kopiera lite från SaintBellas Cetuem-inlägg. Hon har hittar några swatchar till er på Cetuems lack som kan vara värda att kolla upp!

Jag har inte hittat så väldigt många swatches, men det finns några stycken i alla fall.

Nailmail presenterar augusti månads lack, Cetuem!

Så ska vi ta in ett nytt märke vi inte tidigare haft i Nailmail – Cetuem. Det finns inte heller att tillgå här så det är ju lite spännande! Cetuem skapades på 80-talet och har idag ett brett sortiment av nagellack, allt från krämlack till duochroma till glitterlack. Och som vi tidigare konstaterat här på Nailmail är de 3Free.

Du får givetvis välja fritt ur deras sortiment, du har 242 lack att välja bland och du har till den 15e augusti på dig att bestämma dig. Ett paket med tre lack kostar 359 SEK, 6 lack 669 SEK och 9 lack 969 SEK. Prislista finns som vanligt i menyn och det tillkommer inga extra kostnader om du är bosatt i Sverige.

Även detta märke har enbart nummer istället för namn, så var noga när du anger vilket du vill ha. Om du istället vill hålla dig till ett förvalt paket hittar du 210, 234 och 235 i Classy. I Vampy får du 194, 209 och 225 och i Edgy 191, 48 och 161. Förresten är det SaintBella som valt alla lack denna gång eftersom hon kommer få jobba lite i Nailmail med mig framöver!

Thank you for your email. Yes of course we know what the 3 Free are (just not the term it was refereed to).

Cetuem nail enamels

1. Does Not contain DBP.

2. Does Not contain Formaldehyde.

3. Does contain Formaldehyde Resin, where you will find a 0 low hazard rating. (you can find some more information on this at: http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/ingredient/702501/FORMALDEHYDE_RESIN/)

3. Does NOT contain hazardous dosages of Toluene. Here is an excerpt from the report from the European commission.

The levels of Toluene that Cetuem uses is below the level stated in the report.

1. Taking into account the available data on ungual penetration of chemical substances and the physico-chemical properties of toluene, the SCCP is of the opinion, that the penetration of toluene can reasonably be expected to be practically nil .

2. Taking into account the available scientific data, the short-term exposure to toluene from nail products containing 25% toluene is not considered to be of concern with regard to acute neurological effects. Since the risk assessment is based on human data, a MoS of ≥10 is acceptable.

In summary, the SCCP is of the opinion that inclusion of toluene up to 25% is safe from the general toxicological view in nail cosmetics used as intended in adults and children. However, the SCCP would like to point out that there is a foreseeable risk of increased inhalation by children as part of the normal playing behaviour from cosmetics promoted as children’s toys. Therefore, the use of toluene in such products is not considered appropriate.

Historically the Cetuem brand is one of total satisfaction and has a cult following throughout the world via recommendations.  I am sorry to hear that you have had such an experience with Cetuem.  Can you please email, fax or post a copy of your receipt to enable us to deal with this. I would like to offer you an open invitation as and when you are in London from Sweden to visit us and I will personally arrange for one of our professional Cetuem technicians to give you a complimentary manicure to enable you to re evaluate the enamels. I have noted that several of the enamels that you have tried are two tone. These have a tendency to appear as if they have separated due to the complexity of the pigments and colour variations. The Cetuem collection has at present 275 colours with various pigment textures. The cream textures have the highest pigment ranging from solid pigments to almost see-through and cannot be compared at  random purely from the colour on the bottle. The purchase price that you quoted has confused me because the retail price on our website is £9.50 unless you are a professional nail technician were you would have purchased at our trade price. can you please clarify this. I look forward to hearing from you, and would like to know how we can rectify this unfortunate experience, although I must say the colours look lovely on your nails.. Kind regards Andria

Hi Karin, Thank you for your quick response. The comments from this blog is an isolated case. The Cetuem enamel range varies from heavy pigments to almost transparency depending on the look desired. The nail enamel brush is one of the finest in the world. The enamels are very long lasting when applied correctly. The square lid lifts off to reveal a thiner brush lid for greater accuracy. Cetuem nail enamels do not require the balls in the bottle due to its superior formula. (these we discontinued more then a decade ago) Can you please forward these comments onto the relevant person, and if you can put the original email onto the blog as I am having difficulty getting it on.
